Acceptable Use Policy.
ONEWAY gives builders one way to reach many AI providers. These rules keep that access safe, legal and available for everyone.
Effective 28 October 2026 · Version 1.0
01Scope
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to everything you do with ONEWAY: the website, demo, APIs, dashboards and any requests you send to Providers through us. It applies to you, your team and the end users of products you build.
02Provider policies apply too
Every request routed through ONEWAY is also subject to the usage policy of the Provider that handles it. If a Provider's policy is stricter than this one, the stricter rule applies. You are responsible for checking the policies of the Providers you use.
03You must not use ONEWAY to
- Break any law, including Indian law and the law where you or your users are.
- Create, share or seek child sexual abuse material, or sexualise minors in any way.
- Plan, promote or support terrorism, violent extremism or serious violence.
- Develop chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or other weapons capable of mass harm.
- Harass, threaten, bully, stalk or incite hatred against people or groups.
- Create malware, run cyberattacks, or gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
- Commit fraud, scams, phishing or impersonation, or create deceptive content presented as real (including deepfakes of real people without consent).
- Run large-scale disinformation or manipulate elections and civic processes.
- Collect, track or profile people without a lawful basis, or process sensitive data (health, biometrics, financial, children's data) without the required consents.
- Make fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people (credit, employment, housing, insurance, legal status) without appropriate human review.
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or send data you do not have the right to share with Providers.
04Protecting the platform
- Do not share, sell or publish API keys, or let others use your keys outside your organisation.
- Do not bypass rate limits, budgets, safety filters, authentication or other controls.
- Do not resell or white-label raw access to ONEWAY or Providers without a written agreement with us.
- Do not use ONEWAY to build a competing aggregator by systematically extracting our routing, pricing or catalogue data.
- Do not probe, scan or load-test the Service except under our Security disclosure programme or with written permission.
- Do not use outputs to train models in ways a Provider's terms forbid.
05If you build on ONEWAY
You are responsible for how your product uses AI. Tell your users when they are interacting with AI, give them a way to report problems, keep appropriate safeguards for high-risk uses, and make sure your own terms and privacy policy cover the data you send through ONEWAY.
06Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches and, depending on severity, warn you, throttle or block requests, revoke keys, suspend or close accounts, and report illegal activity to authorities. We will try to contact you first unless the situation is urgent or the law prevents it.
07Report misuse
If you see ONEWAY being used in breach of this policy, email team@1way.dev with "Abuse report" in the subject and as much detail as you can share. Security vulnerabilities should be reported through our Security page.
